MEET THE BOARD

Lindsay Biggers

Co-Founder & President

Lindsay moved to Windsor Park in Charlotte, NC in 2020 and noticed a significant amount of stray cats on her street. She rescued one kitten (Winnie - a WK ambassador!) that year, and the following year another (Eliza). After feeding several strays on her porch for a while, she decided to reach out to others through her neighborhood community group - and that’s where she met Alex, Kate and Ariana. The four of them started working together and launched Windsor Kittens Instagram. Lindsay began by fostering the first litter of kittens that WK rescued, and Emma quickly became a frequent visitor to help out.

Lindsay serves in a Director role in a Fortune 50 retail company, and has prior experience with non-profits, serving previously on the Board of Directors for Access to Success, focused on enriching the lives of underserved communities in Nigeria.

She still lives in Windsor Park today, and has four cats (Winnie, Eliza, Xander and Binx), all of which are rescues and graduates of WK programs. She runs the Foster & Adoption Programs. Her family also serves as a foster family, and her 3-year-old niece Florence is a super volunteer often featured on WK social, known for picking out kitten names and teaching them how to be tolerant of toddlers.

Alex Kastanas Holladay

Co-Founder, VP & Treasurer

Alex is a true Charlottean born and raised, resident of East Charlotte for 10+ years and a resident of Windsor Park since 2020. Alex is playfully referred to as our “Trap Queen” for leading our TNR efforts and is often spotted out around the neighborhood in her reflective vest with her humane trap and some stinky sardines in tow. She is TNR certified by the Neighborhood Cats organization and hopes to expand our trapping program far and wide to serve our community cat population in East CLT!

When Alex is not trapping cats, you can find her around town showing property as an agent/REALTOR® with 5 Points Realty, obsessing over native plants and her garden, and chasing one of our youngest volunteers, her toddler Henry.

She lives in Windsor Park with her husband (Ryan), son (Henry) and three cats (Dino, Billie and Curtis) - two of which are neighborhood rescues and graduates of Windsor Kittens!

Marci Duniec

Director

Marci Duniec has been a vibrant member of the Windsor Park community since 2018. Alongside her husband Johnny and their four beloved cats—Chihuly, Veruca, Pierogi, and Spectre—Marci has made Windsor Park her home. Her journey with Windsor Kittens began when she discovered a mama caring for her kittens in her carport. Seeking assistance, she reached out to Windsor Kittens and was met with immediate support. This experience not only led to her fostering the kittens (and ultimately adopting Spectre) but also sparked her active involvement with the organization.

In addition to her work with Windsor Kittens, Marci serves as the Events Coordinator for the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association, where her dedication to community service shines. Professionally, she works in a family business with her sister as a high-risk merchant services broker.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Marci enjoys camping, biking, and hiking. Her passion for fostering community spirit and creating joy around her is evident in everything she does.
